About Us

At K-9 Best Behaviour Dog Training we strive to teach you – the owner – how to achieve your dog’s best behaviour.

Our Approach

We use positive training motivators to achieve desired behaviours, making obedience training fun for both you and your dog.  Combining their use with good leadership skills helps build a relationship where your four legged canine companion not only wants to be with you but is an eager and willing participant.

Personalized Plan

Every relationship between each person and their dog is unique, and we choose training methods to match individual situations.  Our training goal is to help build a life long bond between owner and dog.

We teach obedience with the belief that behind every well mannered dog is an educated owner, that a well trained dog is not only a joy to own but also a happy companion.

With effective dog training not only does your dog learn to respect you but also to look to you for direction and leadership.  We base our dog training techniques on clear logical communication, emphasising motivational reward-based obedience training.

Weekly Drop In

Personalizing training programs to accommodate your lifestyle and training needs encourages a positive respectful relationship between you and your dog.

The weekly drop in group obedience training classes gives you the opportunity to polish obedience and refine your handling skills in real life situations.

These on-going dog training classes are held in Burnaby and Vancouver, in a fun and supportive atmosphere.  The training classes run year round so no need to worry about missing a class or two.  This is accommodating for every persons lifestyle.

'A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, big or small, young or old.  He doesn't care if you're not smart, not popular, not a good joke-teller, not the best athlete, nor the best looking person.  To your dog, you are the greatest, the smartest, the nicest human being who was ever born.  You are his friend and protector.'
